A Harris/Buttigeg ticket would be a power move, as would a Harris/Whitmer ticket

Whatever you think of Joe Biden, this move must be extraordinarily painful for him and it takes a lot of humility. I applaud him for his service.

He should have dropped out over a week ago when it was apparent he wasn’t going to beat Trump. All the delay did was cost Democrats time. I applaud him for his service, but he’s been incredibly foolish.

Exactly… Biden criticized those who said he needed to step aside, which was a majority of Democrat voters.

Putting the country over himself? Pfft. He’ll never crush his opponents and imperil the world with that attitude.

    Good man, Joe. Good job.

I know he’s old, but this could be a winning ticket. Keeping Harris as a compromise and continuity. Iwould instantly max out donations if he was picked. Which of course means it’ll never happen…

Bernie Sanders is as antisemitic a piece of shit as he was the last time. There is no universe that Bernie gets the nomination. It’s gonna be Kamala.

What the fuck is wrong with you? Sanders isn’t antisemitic at all and you’re a fucking liar.

Newsflash: opposing genocide isn’t antisemitism, except in the deranged minds of sociopaths.

I was never a fan of this move for the very reason that finding someone sounds impossible with the time we have left

Guess it’s time to find out if the Dems can snatch victory from the jaws of defeat

I think that Kamala is the most obvious replacement especially because she has access to the Biden/Harris campaign funds. If that’s agreed upon by the delegates, then the selection is just for VP, which I think can be more streamlined.

The timing isn’t great. Primaries already happened most places. A huge amount of campaigning could have been done already. But I think if the Dems can pick someone under 50 who can cohesively string together an entire paragraph, they’ll win.

The timing is a question. Too much time will hurt the Dems maybe more than not-enough.
