    That didn’t happen.
    “The files don’t exist.”

And if it did, it wasn’t that bad.
    “It’s just full of Democrats.”

And if it was, that’s not a big deal.
    “Old news, move on already.”

And if it is, that’s not my fault.
“Somebody planted my name in it.”

And if it was, I didn’t mean it.
    ???

And if I did, you deserved it.
    ???

That last one is going to be a doozey.

Re last one … they wanted to be models and make money, and Epstein made it happen… so they deserved being abused?

We already know how the last one is gonna go. “If they didn’t want to get raped they shouldn’t be dressing so suggestively”

Maybe instead of thirty dolls, this year Donald only gets two, but they cost a bit more.

Oooh, Oooh! Let me guess the last two!

Umm, something along the lines of “it was locker room talk.” As in, “any guy in my position would have done the same.”

And for the last one… “They were asking for it!” Like they don’t think of the children as children, think of them as non-humans who were begging to be-

Ugh, this bit is too gross to continue.

It’s very clear that he’s on the list and that’s not surprising. What’s surprising is that out of all the people in these bureaus and government, not a single person is standing up and doing anything. It’s unbelievable that there aren’t and people with intrinsic good in them to fucking do something about this.

Well, I’d like to be surprised that POTUS was visiting a rape island, but having observed Trump for nearly a decade it’s entirely predictable that he would do that given the opportunity.

I think you could sort the members and supporters of his regime broadly into 3 categories:

      • there’s the MAGA people who are on board because they’re sick of the wokerati telling them what to do. They’re not really “engaged” with the politics. These are the “leopards ate my face” types.
      • there’s the apathetic conservatives who are trying not to look too closely, don’t necessarily like Trump, but support conservative policies and aren’t going to oppose him.
      • then there’s the active supporters like the FBI agents reviewing the files or republicans voting not to release them. They’re complicit for their own benefit.

I think there’s a fourth category, which is people who are keeping quiet for their own health. If you blew the whistle, how long do you truly believe you’d remain anonymous? Even if you moved to a foreign country right afterwards, how long do you think you’d stay alive? You have a highly narcissistic man in control of one of the most complex and far-reaching systems of surveillance ever built, and that man is HIGHLY invested in keeping his secrets - and failing that, he’s never been above making examples. Don’t forget Trump worked with the Mob, likely the Russian Mafia, and came of age in the tail end of the era where blowing the whistle on the wrong person in NY could very well end with you getting a lead injection from a very Italian man.

Last 10 years have really shown us how trash this country is, haven’t they?

Americans aren’t very smart. Americans are pretty weak.

      Sad. But true.

The files are real, I’ve got them on my desk

My enemies are named in the files.

I’m not going to release the files for people to see the context.

Nobody cares anyway we won’t talk about it.

Ok everyone cares about it but the list doesn’t actually exist

Okay it exists but all instances that mention me are fake <-- you are here

That isn’t an irrelevant point. Not because Trump was falsely added to the Epstein files but because it’s yet another angle the Biden DOJ could have taken to do something consequential about Trump. Instead they repeatedly stalled and chose to pursue only the most trivial of accusations with any real sense of urgency, apparently hoping that ignoring the problem would make it go away, or at least buy them some political goodwill. Now we’re all stuck dealing with the fallout of treating a traitor with kid gloves.

Don’t you just hate when you’re maliciously added to a giant scandal that you had nothing to do with? It’s always the ones that were perpetrated by a man that you knew for 15 years that described you as his only friend and that introduced you to your current wife.

Happens to me all the time too.

“We were ‘pals’ for fifteen years and no one thought to mention it until the deep state decided to retroactively add my name. Just like how the FBI never catalogues the associates of any other person under criminal investigation.”

I get your point, but, no.

Finding out who he’s planning on damaging is important. But an article that starts with “Trump says…” is already too conciliatory.

Every article reporting Trump’s insanity should be written appropriately: “In full damage-control mode Trump tries to pretend his name may have been planted in Epstein files.”

“Trump violates the constitution again, in claim that…”

“Despite ruling from superior court judge, Trump pushes ahead with illegal kidnappings.”

This is what the media needs to do, and every time they don’t, it’s a failure that doesn’t deserve our attention.
